Esther – Esetere awakens passion, restores hope and gives a voice to the voiceless while giving honest commentary on the world, life, family, politics and moral fibre of society. There are different facets of Esther -Esetere, as the name suggests,historically, Esther is a Persian name that was given to a young Jewish orphan who became a queen. The name was given to conceal her true foreign roots in hope that she would be accepted and protected in the Persian kingdom. Esetere is the Setswana version of the name🙂An intentional translation to represent the strength of the African girl and the voice that can speak to nations despite the contradictions that sometimes surround the African child. What may seem like a disadvantage may very well be the exact difference that is needed.
The boy child and man should not feel excluded. You are part of the story. Women empowerment is a farce if it’s not in context of both men and women, building society together. There is power in this partnership and unity. It’s not a competition. For everyone this journey is about perspective, courage,hope, truth, justice, morals and miracles. God is a divine orchestrator of events.
The Story
Esther-Esetere was finally birthed in 2023 following several confirmations and signs.
I am a story of what God can do. To my intellectual friends and readers – that’s just it. I’m a public speaker, a former radio personality, news anchor and always a journalist. I’m an artist and a creative that means I’m a solution finder, innovative and unique. I haven’t always been confident or bold. On the contrary, I grew up fearful, timid with a poor self-esteem and insecurity. I think everything changed when my late mother passed on, life set me up for a different survival and the uncertainties of where I would end up. For years I battled with accepting and believing the love of God and thus had no anchor for personal value, worth and confidence. I grew up in church and served from childhood, but I was still timid.
Genuine confidence comes from accepting God is your LOVING Father – who wants to talk to you cares❤️. It took the undoing of basing this worth on accomplishments including spiritual “acumen”. The undoing removed all religious rituals that comes with it’s anxiety. Hey, I’m still on that journey, but definitely becoming. Today? Winning looks different. Success is different. My worth has nothing to do with me. This a good place.❤️ I’m a social worker too. Let healing happen.
